Ireland’s leading youth travel company, Shamrocker Adventures has raised €1324 through their first St. Patrick’s Charity Raffle. Three great charities – An Taisce, Children in Hospital Ireland and the Irish Cancer Society are the beneficiaries.

 

An Taisce The National Trust for Ireland is Ireland’s oldest charity protecting our built and natural heritage. Celebrating its 60th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary in 2008, An Taisce is an advocate for the quality of all life that works to protect Ireland’s rich and often undervalued natural and cultural heritage through heritage ownership, environmental education, partnership and improved national policies. We promote a holistic approach that encourages development to take place in harmony with heritage rather than with mitigation as an afterthought. At the heart of An Taisce’s objectives is the promotion of sustainable development in all facets of Irish life for future generations. An Taisce received €441.00 from Shamrocker Adventures.
