Wildlife in Curraghchase: Éanna Ní Lamhna to Launch An Taisce’s Living Limerick programme at Coillte’s Curraghchase Forest Park

On Saturday 29th July Éanna Ní Lamhna will be leading a Wildlife Safari of Coillte’s Curraghchase Forest Park, exploring the wild woodlands, the ancient yews, and the lakeside habitats of the serene demense.

The event is the beginning of a Limerick wide project run by An Taisce – The National Trust for Ireland, which will be running a whole series of fun outdoor events exploring the wildlife of the area over the coming months. There will be special days for plant identification and wildlife friendly gardening, helpful hints for Tidy Towns groups and bug hunts for kids, and simple wildlife walks with wondrous folks like Éanna Ní Lamhna!

Do come and join us to hear all about the wildlife of the areas with the humour and knowledge that only Éanna can weave together so well.
