Architectural Heritage
The overall provisions guiding the protection of architectural heritage are contained in the Council of Europe Granada Convention 1985. This sets out general objectives of all signatory states including Ireland to meet international standards in the identification and protection of architectural heritage including groups of buildings and monuments and their settings.
