This illustrated talk will be led by writer Leo Cullen. Leo Cullen, currently a resident of Monkstown, Co. Dublin is a novelist, short story writer and regular contributor on RTE Radio’s ‘Sunday Miscellany’ programme. He was first published by David Marcus on his "New Writing" page in the Irish Press. His first book, a collection of stories entitled 'Clocking Ninety on the Road to Cloughjordan', was published in 1994 and his novel, 'Let’s Twist Again' (Blackstaff Press) was published in 2001. He has won poetry scholarships and has studied fiction writing with John McGahern. His awards include the Ireland & UK section of David Wong Pen International short story competition, 2003. He has given workshops at writers’ festivals and writers’ centres throughout Ireland and abroad.
The event will start at 8pm on Monday 11 September. Admission is €5. Refreshments included.
