Meet at 11 a.m.
We start at the Flight of the Earls Statue with a guided talk on the Lough Swilly fjord, its topography, a tidal habitat, a habitat for migrant birds and the woodland cover in the locality.
We then take a free return bus to Rathmullan Wood for a two hour leisurely walk in this mature woodland and Nature Reserve. A beautiful woodland in early summer, ground flora, mature trees, bird song, The guide is Aengus Kennedy.
Everyone welcome. Suitable for all age groups.
There is very limited parking space at Rathmullan Wood - therefore it is advisable to avail of the free return bus.
