  • We are a membership-based charity featuring like-minded volunteers, local associations and committees. We encouraqe you to get as involved as you can with An Taisce

  • Through our world-class education programmes, through advocacy, campaigning and through our policy work An Taisce promotes environmental protection and responsible development

  • Know that we will put your membership fees to work in practical ways to protect some 6,890 acres of wonderful and unique landscape along with some 17 historic structures in 10 counties

  • Will my An Taisce membership card get me into other heritage properties in Ireland and abroad?: An Taisce is a member of the International National Trusts Organisation. Heritage properties in Ireland and abroad may offer concessions to An Taisce members on a case-by-case basis. Members should enquire at the property before arrival.

  • I'm coming to visit Ireland soon. What heritage properties can I visit?: All An Taisce Properties are free to visit. You might also be interested in the National Trust for England Wales and Northern Ireland properties in Northern Ireland. Finally, the Irish Government's properties are at [http://www.heritageireland.ie] (http://www.heritageireland.ie "http://www.heritageireland.ie"). They do a card which covers them all at discounted price. We hope you have a great holiday!

  • Can I purchase gift membership for somebody else? Our systems do not currently allow for the processing of gift memberships. We are hoping to include this in the new system we are developing.
