Why do we need your membership?
- The number of planning applications we deal with is 3 times what is was a decade ago.
- To fulfil properly, our mandate as a prescribed body under planning and environment acts, we would need 20 not 4 environmental and planning staff.
- We need to invest more in our 13 heritage properties. Some include: The Boyne Navigation Canal, Kanturk Castle, Howth Courthouse, Tailors’ Hall, Booterstown Marsh in South County Dublin and Gort Weigh House in Galway. All of these properties are managed at minimal cost.
