Comments submitted to the DoE Dec 2007 in response to the 'Water Matters' public consultation towards drafting a River Basin Management Plan for the Eastern River Basin District
- The Submission includes comments to the authorty on wider ranging issues such as:
- rainwater harvesting,
- Industrial waste discharges,
- Poor performance of waste water treatment plants
- Regulation & control of quarries, and the multiple problems associated with plantation forestry.
