Moore Street Protection
10 Aug 2005
As the 70th anniversary of the 1916 Rising approaches (next year), An Taisce is anxious to see the building, which was the “last command headquarters of the Irish forces” at No. 16 Moore Street, is properly listed and protected.
An Taisce is deeply concerned about the rapid deterioration of the building over recent months and calls on Dublin City Council to publicly state its plans and intentions in relation to this “Historic Site”.
