MANAGEMENT ISSUES AND FUTURE PLAN
  • Acknowledgement by Duchas is needed to acknowledge An Taisce ownership and the function of this property in the form of signage and literature.
  • Review Turbary Rights and sheep grazing, and stop them if necessary.
  • Opportunities should be investigated to acquire additional land along side Lough Nacung.
  • Assess visitor carrying capacity by establishing management zoning.
  • Assess opening access from Glentornan.
  • Investigate tourism opportunities at Glentornan.
  • Establish an endowment fund.
