Administrative Officer (Built Environment) - Dublin
An Taisce is a non government organisation run by its members with a passion to protect Ireland’s cultural heritage. This is done through the management of a number of properties, through environmental education, promoting debate on environmental issues and campaigning for more sustainable government of the built and natural environment.
The Government has also given An Taisce a prescribed role in the planning process and the organisation channels public submissions and appeals. There is a small team of professional employees to fulfill this function and we are seeking a Built Environment Administrative Officer working in Dublin
The work is varied and interesting, working to assist our Strategic Planning Officer in protecting Ireland’s built and natural environment. The Officer will have some contact with the public and members in our local associations.
The successful candidate will probably have third level education and have had 3 years office experience, (possibly in a legal office). Much of the work will be collecting supporting material for files for the strategic planners’ attention, and filing. Some typing is essential as is experience of computer data base control and web site maintenance
Salary Euro 30-33,000
