Culture Night - Tailors' Hall

An Taisce is delighted to present works from the forthcoming Intention, Place and Legacy exhibition by Dublin artist John Roch Simons.

Simons’ practice is research-driven and primarily through portraiture. The series is a complex portrait of Kathleen Goodfellow (1891 - 1980) in comparison to other conventional methods. Goodfellow was a philanthropic patron of the arts who gifted to An Taisce in perpetuity a hidden urban woodland in Donnybrook, known as The Grove, as a wildlife sanctuary.
