What: A visit to Julianstown Community Garden, followed by a Bee Keeping Talk at Sonairte Ecology Centre. When: Saturday the 24th of October 2015, departing Pearse College – Dublin 8, at 10:30 am, Bridgefoot Street – Dublin 8, at 11:00 am, arriving at Julianstown Community garden at 12:30 pm. Where:
Julianstown Community Garden and Sonairte in Julianstown, County Meath.

Overview: Departing by Mini-bus from Pearse College, Dublin 8, at 10:30 am, we will head to Julianstown in County Meath, stopping along the way at Bridgefoot Street, Dublin 8, at 11:00 am. Upon arrival at Julianstown Community Garden we will have a tour of the garden and help out with some end of year thinning of the plantings. Lunch will be served in the Parish Hall at 1:30 pm. After lunch we will move on to Sonairte where Liam McGarry will deliver a talk and slide show from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. This will give advice to gardeners who want to take the plunge and start keeping a Bee Hive within their garden. Departure back to Dublin at 3:30 pm.
