Appraisal

The building poorly maintained. None of the original fabric remains other than the external walls. It is
suffering from structural problems that could lead to full or partial collapse, and there is an immediate threat
of further deterioration.

This building has a very important historic and social significance being the summerhouse of the Yeats
Family. It is in a picturesque location at Rosses Point but has become engulfed by vegetation. It
management plan to maintain vegetation should be pursued.
