Do you live in Limerick, Clare, Galway, or South Tipperary?

Are you a current or past member of An Taisce?

Are you a Volunteer that participates in any of the An Taisce educational programmes

If not, and if this is something you would be interested in, or even if you would just like to learn more about the work of An Taisce in your local area, please join us in Limerick on Saturday 16th September, at the Limerick Strand Hotel (Situated close to the Limerick Railway Station).

An Taisce, The National Trust of Ireland is primarily a membership organisation, advocating for sustainable planning and policy and the protection of our natural and built environment along with other environmental issues on local, national, and European levels

An Taisce invites you to a Volunteer Day in the Limerick Strand Hotel on Saturday 16th September which promises to be jam packed with informative talks and sharing of ideas on how best to address the issues arising today, in your local area. Speakers will include Mr. Gary Freemantle the CEO of An Taisce, Elaine McGoff PhD, Head of Advocacy with An Taisce along with guest speakers from the local associations in your community. The event will be hosted by the An Taisce local Associations in Limerick, Clare & Galway, which are made up of Volunteers like you who have come together to support the work of An Taisce on the ground.

Our Education Unit designs and delivers key environmental education programmes, such as Green Schools, Clean Coasts & the National Spring Clean programmes. This would not be possible without the support of thousands of volunteers across Ireland.

Local events such as Clean Ups, Nature Walks, and Legacy4Life projects, which are programmes developed by An Taisce , to develop community-based supports for Ireland’s natural environment with a focus on ecosystem resilience and biodiversity enhancement, are dependent on the support of Volunteers. Please give an hour or two of your time to support these programmes

If this is something you are interested in becoming more involved in, please come along and bring a friend.  We look forward to meeting you there.
