In has been in the longstanding ownership of the Forestry Commission, now Coillte. This is an impressive folly (circa 1760) is part of the Emo Demesne, now hidden by trees and becoming overgrown by vegetation. The structure is in ruins with structural movement to the upper section. No long term conservation management plan is proposed to secure its future.
